How can we not relate to the Kuju family? 😅 We saw ourselves and our family members in each of the characters. Introducing The Kujus made us laugh, we were happy to have watched it
~Worth Watching~

Delicious
—Let’s talk about some of the comic aspects of the screenplay: the 5 siblings all have names that start with the syllable “Mau”, i.e. Maupe, Mautin, Maugbe, Mausi, and Mauyan 😆
—We saw rivalry, arguments, lies, neglect, and love among the Kujus members, things we experience in our own families.
Mautin (Femi Jacobs) was the patronizing eldest brother, Maugbe (Timini Egbuson), the kiddo hustling to get a career while Mausi (Bisola Aiyeola) was the glue, the mother figure doing her absolute best to pull everyone together.
Kudos to the twins (Temitope Ogunleye and Ayomide Ogunleye) as well as Chuks (Folaremi Agunbiade) and Pamela (Mimi Onalaja) who brought a plus to the story with their beautiful acting
—Hats off to the costume design team for the lively wardrobe that helped us get to know each character
—One thing we learned was that bickering, division, and disagreement are not ‘abnormal’ in the family setting, matter of fact it shows that the family is functioning properly. However, it’s the frequency of these conducts that should raise an alarm.
The film made us realize that as family members grow up, they won’t always adhere to old traditions because they have changed and adopted new lifestyles
—Biodun Stephen carried us on a great journey and engaged us with the Kujus family through the display of their various activities and environment. It was so pleasing to see that

Bland
—MC Lively and Sophie Alakija (playing Lily) were not impressive even though their characters had the potential to dazzle us
—The screenplay was, overall, a mundane one taking bits and pieces from many movies we’ve seen of this genre.
We pretty much knew where the narrative was headed and how it would end
