~Worth Watching~

Delicious
—Alfred Hitchcock once said: “To make a great film you need three things – the script, the script, and the script.”
Voiceless was one of those scripts that transported us to a different sphere. We left our comfort seats and became detained with the boys and girls in the terrorist camp.
It’s one thing watching terrorist reports on news channels and another one experiencing the domination and atrocities in a movie
—Dialogues were inspiring and stimulating. The film demonstrated how unity and bravery can surpass all things, and showed the devastating consequences of division by concluding with poignant lines🙌
—Must appreciate the decency in shooting the rape scenes; nothing visual but everything hinting that something was taking place
—The cinematographer made a great choice of using low-angle camera shots to illustrate the terrorists’ superiority and intimidation. Fine work on the lighting and ground-level shots
—Casting was just fantastic, supporting actors rendered a believable performance by being frail, embittered, ferocious, and strong.
The graceful acting of the main characters was so captivating: Goni (Adam Garba) and Salma (Asabe Madaki) felt like our siblings. They went through a gradual development that was encouraging to witness 😃
—Robert O Peters outdid himself; the movie wasn’t the typical war-type movie. He succeeded in setting different tones for the film: anger, excitement, fear, pensiveness, sadness, and social awareness

Bland
—Slight notable issues included unrefined audio, score, and color grading; the weak visual effects of the bloodshed and gunfire hurt the story a bit
