A warm round of applause to the cast and crew who gave us a sweet and sophisticated story on a gold platter.
At first glance, Villain appeared like a simple plot with a simple cast but it contained so much depth and power, very moving!
~Worth Watching~

Delicious
—Great location pick for the movie; the father’s house was almost like a resort making the narrative very calming and inviting
—What really stood out from Villain was the screenplay which went beyond the casual father-son reunion. We weren’t even told what the father’s and son’s names were; seeing their awkwardness and silence was very painful.
Villain was shedding light on man’s artificial nature, selfishness, hypocrisy, pride, and lust.
It was sad that the father and son, though related by blood, were like strangers to each other, making us realize the true meaning of the word ‘family’
—The last line of the film spoke a thousand words and got us reflecting…Well-crafted dialogues overall
—No need to mention how exquisite the color grading was!

Bland
