We’re starting to realize that the most satisfying films are those we put aside. At first glance, Three Thieves’ poster didn’t appeal much, it appeared like one of “those movies”.
As always boredom leads you to watch the pushed-away films, that’s when the magnitude of Three Thieves was revealed 😀
The humor frankly covered every frame, no stone was left unturned. Literally, we were almost on the verge of choking due to severe laughter!

First of all, the art director was absolutely aware of the comic context: from Tega’s office that had ridiculous signs pasted on the walls, Pirate’s headquarters decorated with the most hilarious inscriptions to the 3 friends’ amusing outfits😁

The dialogues were out of this world, one of the craziest lines was when Madame Boss (Shaffy Bello) used the word ‘fool’ so many times while talking that a woman annoyingly said: “Look, do you need a thesaurus or something? There are about 20 other synonyms for the word ‘fool’!“ We just exploded right there🤣

Udoka Oyeka, the director, maintained the entertainment from start to finish, the story took us on a wonderful ride with good morals on fatherhood, care for one another, dangers of greed, and the need for contentment.
Koye, Shawn, and Frank (playing the three friends) excelled in their performance; so pure and effortless! A big shout out to the little girl Angel Unigwe (playing Fuwe), Bucci Franklin (playing Alhaji Change), and Eric Obinna (playing Pirate)

So sorry but have to include this teeny weeny tiny note on the not-so-good acting of Lucianne Akpabio (playing Adella) and Shaffy Bello. Plus, Pirate’s fake machete was a bit disappointing…
Other than that, Three Thieves was outstanding!!
