~Worth Watching~

Delicious
—First things first, let’s complement the make-up and costume design teams, they worked wonders; the accent was adequately placed where it needed to be. Just by looking at the wardrobe, we had a good sense of each character; we knew who was hustling, evolving, thriving, and clowning
—The three friends, Eddy (Tobi Bakre), Jite (Uzor Arukwe), and Osi (Shawn Faqua) raised the bar. We loved them, we hated them, they amused us, and we were also irritated at them.
They were such a fulfillment to watch 😀 Kudos to Chimezie Imo (playing Advantage) and George Efua (playing Rufus)
—The Blood Covenant wasn’t about the regular script of some men going to the witch doctor to enrich themselves, it took an innovative and captivating spin; unfortunately, this is as much detail as we can provide to prevent spoilers 🙁
The big instruction was summarized by this Bible verse at the end of the movie “for what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?” Self-centeredness, negligence, greed, and overzealousness were on the film menu
—Big ups to the art director, a fine work done with each location design, we admire you, sir!

Bland
—The editing was, regrettably, not smooth; the quick scene cuts startled us many times without giving us a chance to digest the moment. The excessive brightness in some scenes was a bit overbearing
—The Blood Covenant had a couple of fighting and suspenseful segments that would have really benefited from good sound effects. Plus, the police force appeared a little fake in their operations
