Eagle Wings’ trailer brought so much excitement as it was a never-before-seen script. If only the film were as thrilling as the trailer 😔 It was deeply painful that the production did not deliver

Delicious
—Just take a look at Eagle Wings’ poster, isn’t it exciting??? 😃 What a noble project to spotlight the Nigerian Air Force and the work they go through to preserve the nation’s safety! Much respect
—Good work on the location choices (e.g. Air Force’s and insurgents’ bases)
Bland
—The screenplay appeared to be based more on Air Force propaganda than an actual film. We understood where the story started from and where it was headed; nonetheless, there were no dramatic elements to keep us hooked to our screen.
Dialogues and acting were plain. And what was quite surprising, we didn’t get to know the names of the 3 main characters until around 55 minutes into the movie; even Commander Nura’s wife’s name was omitted
—A movie like Eagle WIngs desperately calls for dynamic footage and editing to stir us up.
The monotonous fading and dissolving transitions from scene to scene became tedious and the absent shots of dramatic aircraft movements in the sky sadly turned Eagle Wings into a documentary
—A number of scene sequences missed logic, for example, Nura, knowing that the insurgents were looking for him, still kept on his highly noticeable Air Force suit rather than wearing the locals’ outfit
—Using a gray color palette for the film took out the vigor of the scenes
