Sadly, Day Of Destiny was set aside for a long time due to the not-so-convincing trailer and for not being big fans of Blossom Chukwujekwu 🙁
Soooo glad Day Of Destiny was given a chance because it was such a blast! 😆
Oh my…This movie was packed with great comedy, performance, and production. We were hooked from start to finish
~So Worth Watching~
Delicious
—Congratulations to the casting director for picking the right people. There were a number of fresh faces that did so well, notably Helena (Gbemi Akinlade), the young wizard (OG Tega), and Chidi (Olumide Owuru).
The family members really looked alike and their chemistry was ridiculously beautiful
—Shout out to Ini Dima-Okojie (playing young Ifeoma) and Broda Shaggi (playing the adult wizard); Blossom Chukwujekwu (playing young Banky) was actually not bad in this movie
—An impeccable work executed on the visual effects; it made the story believable
—A big thank you to the art direction team for enhancing the story with a historical design😍
—Akay Mason and Abosi Ogba led us on a journey to the past, focusing on good details. The blocking of the actors successfully generated the desired effects. The directors knew when to introduce laughter, seriousness, and morals.
The two brothers took us on an adventure with their hilarious thought process and the comic people they met along the way (e.g the dubious wizards and vocal taxi driver)
While watching Day Of Destiny, children will definitely learn to value their parents’ efforts and parents to build an honest and incorruptible legacy for their children
—Kudos to a brilliant screenplay; every actor’s talent was properly utilized. We all had an idea of the end of the movie, but just didn’t know how to get there due to great twists
—Costume designer and editing teams, well done!
