Summary: [This is the second installment of The Set Up series] Chike is back in Nigeria working as a spy for the US government. Her overt proximity to Grace leads Nigerian authorities to apprehend and use her for their own agenda

Overall Rating: Water
The Set Up 1 was dynamic, we were introduced to the two best friends (Chike and Grace) who navigated their way through the world of drug trafficking and fraud. The plot was thought-provoking and divided into character parts showing different vantage points which ignited our curiosity.

The narrative was engaging and the performance thrilling. The Set Up 2, on the contrary, was executed frailly that we couldn’t recognize the story we previously enjoyed.
We have to give it up to Adesua Wellington (playing Chike) and the costume design team as they carried the weight of the movie on their shoulders!

We won’t elaborate much on the quality of the movie because the shortcomings were many in terms of the aimless directing, fragmented script, passive acting, feeble fighting choreography, shallow dialogues, absence of logic, simple set design, etc😞

It was quite regrettable because The Set Up series started out with a such good lead…
