~Worth Watching~

Delicious
–What took Sanitation Day to higher dimensions was the various themes addressed and the fact that it explored the double meaning of the term ‘sanitation day’ which could be understood as environmental (cleaning areas of the city) and also political (cleaning corruption)
—The mixture of several ethnic backgrounds in the communal residence added so much flavor to the script😂
The neighbors had their own cultural behaviors and couldn’t understand each other when they were arguing in different languages. The conflicting eyewitness accounts were hilarious, misleading, and intriguing.
The long suspense in Sanitation Day made us soooo impatient to find out who exactly was this unknown man.
Inspector Hassan’s monologue towards the end raised great questions about the government, good food for thought
—Very genuine acting that it felt like we were also part of the communal residence. Elozanam Ogbolu (playing Inspector Stanley), uuuh…excuse us, how come we’re just knowing you now, where have you been hiding your talent all this time???😃 An unforgettable and exquisite performance!
Nse Ikpe-Etim (playing Madam Suzie) is forever a diamond!

Bland
—Editing, color grading, and cinematography were plain; different camera angles could have added more energy to suit the genre of the story
—A number of scenes felt redundant and dragged a bit with no dynamism (e.g. the turning point at the end)
