Oru Thekkan Thallu Case was not as expected, we painted a different image than what we saw. The movie was another one of those revenge tales without adding any new spice to it

Delicious
—So great to see Roshan Mathew (playing Podiyan, one of the culprits) with a new look! His role accentuated just how great of an actor he is 😃 He was unapologetically rough, rude, mischievous, and romantic
—Let’s take a moment to applaud the set design team for a fine job executed! The village radiated a good old-school vibe through the marketplace, house decor, and sandy roads.
The lighting team, as well, should be congratulated for the impeccable work done during those night scenes👏🏾
Bland
— Oru Thekkan Thallu Case was mainly about Anna declaring to slap 5 boys publicly, hence the entire plot revolved around striking off each name from the list. This became tedious to see because literally, we were like “ok, one down four more to go…two down three more to go”
We knew that Podiyan, the most notorious one, would obviously be the last one to slap, it was just a matter of how it would happen
—The story was an exhibition of the egoistic and proud nature of mankind with no big lesson to teach.
The main male and female characters boldly defied societal norms, which is totally fine as long as there’s a good cause for it; in Oru Thekkan Thallu Case, it appeared to solely show off machismo, hooliganism, and mere audacity
