Nimbe was an interesting film that gave us more than we expected. The execution and screenplay, so regrettably, didn’t hold up to standards. Overall, a good watch
~Worth Watching~

Delicious
—When you have a character’s name for a movie title, you expect greatness and that’s exactly what Chimezie Imo (playing Nimbe) was.
First time seeing him on screen and he left a memorable impression. He looked like the kid next door, frail, timid, but also wanting acceptance. Then, he transformed into this fierce boy, hmmm….👊🏾
Should we really talk about Toyin Abraham (playing Nimbe’s mom) and Odunlade Adekola (playing Nimbe’s dad)? Flawless is an understatement😃
—‘Nimbe’ was crude in showing the way domestic violence damages children’s psychology as well as the brutality and bloodiness of the crime world
—The film sent out a valuable message to parents on the immense necessity to nurture children in order to prevent them from going astray.
Thank you for making this movie

Bland
—The scenario appeared a bit all over the place. Though we were introduced to Nimbe, we didn’t really get a deep sense of who he was and the mental process leading to his change.
There was no progress, we were just given pieces and expected to put the puzzle together
—The weak editing hurt the scene transitions and song cuts
—Color grading was quite inconsistent and a more intriguing score could have drawn our attention to the intensity of the themes
