Summary: If there was ever a perfect example of stubbornness, it would be Subramani, an older man extremely resistant to change. Things take a different turn when he’s introduced to a robotic home nurse to care for him

Overall Rating: Nuts
Koogle Kuttappa was fun, it reminded us of the hilarious moments we had when watching the Mollywood version.
With any remake, you want to see new items brought to the table; in the case of Koogle Kuttappa, there was not much variance, unfortunately
~Still Worth Watching~

Delicious
—Subramini (K. S. Ravikumar) sold the story for us 😀 He was terrific! From his peculiar walk (due to his feet’s infirmity) to his constant sarcasm, we were laughing all the way.
He had great chemistry with Kuttappa, the robotic home nurse, and we enjoyed their dance choreography
—We liked the Tamil flavor infused into Koogle Kuttappa, in terms of the different scenery and occupations of some of the characters compared to the Mollywood version
—Kuttappa was designed so well that it looked like a teddy bear rather than a robot 🙂 A very cuddly fellow

Bland
—The beginning scenes would have stopped us from watching the movie had we not already known the story: The part shot in Germany was badly affected by inadequate dubbing, acting, and logic.
Then switching to the scene in Tamil Nadu, it was noisy due to the cheesy dialogues from Uncle (Yogi Babu) and his young friend (Poovaiyar)
—Aadhi (playing Subramani’s son) and Tharani (playing Aadhi’s lover) were, surprisingly, not convincing. It even seemed like they were uncomfortable in front of the camera to the point that their romance appeared unnatural
—As stated earlier, we hoped Koogle Kuttappa could have brought a little extra from the original version such as additional layers to the plot or a contrasting interpretation of artificial intelligence
