~Worth Watching~
Delicious
—Knockout Blessing had a very polished production crowned by thrilling cinematography with controlled lighting and exciting sound effects
—The plot was creative, told in chapter sections with unusual characters like a rookie street girl, a fraudulent witch doctor, and a village female boxer.
There were no boring scenes, each unfolding segment of the script kept us fascinated and we had some good laughing moments
—Ade Laoye, playing the title role of Blessing, held the ship together. A warning for all: just stay away from her punches o!
Bucci Franklin (playing the criminal don) and Ademola Adedoyin (playing Gowon), as usual, can never embarrass us 🙂 They were mysterious and tactical
—In a world where we’re more and more apprehensive of everyone, the three ladies Oby (Linda Ejiofor), Hannah(Linda Otanwa), and Blessing showed the power of helping one another even as strangers.
Blessing’s knockout punches were quite symbolic to ‘halt’ the atrocities around her, e.g. human sacrifice, physical assault, fornication, etc.
Knockout Blessing reminded us of Lotanna, in a sense that both were amazing stories that left us craving for more; we are anxiously waiting for part 2, please 🙏🏿
Bland
—Many action scenes were hidden from us such as the altercations between Gowon and the police, Gowon and security men, etc.
The gunshot wounds, sadly, didn’t appear real 🙁 All of this made the story less believable
