We’re clapping, shouting, and screaming of joy, we’re just in awe 🙌🏾🤓🥳
To be honest, we didn’t expect much from King of Thieves, and the best movies, like they say, are the ones you don’t watch with expectations. OH GOODNESS!!!! Fantastic production, fantastic cast, fantastic story!
~Worth Watching~
(A little advice for those intimidated by the poster, watch King of Thieves during daytime with sunlight piercing through your windows, we guarantee it will lessen the fear factor)

Delicious
—The most striking element of King of Thieves was the scenery, i.e. the breathtaking view of the village, the people, clothing, dances, trees, mountains, etc.
On top of that, the set design team worked very hard to deliver an antique atmosphere
—The traditional music😍
—We have too many additional great things to say about the production, it’s better we just list a few; otherwise, we’ll spend the entire day talking about it 🙂
Ok, we have the wonderful costume design, make-up design, sound effects, special effects, CGI, visual effects, etc. Welllllll done!!
—What we admired about the screenplay was that it carried a vital message.
Beyond the mysticism, the film criminalized the harsh treatment of thieves; if a boy steals food, it’s because he’s hungry, and if a man steals clothes, it’s because he’s naked.
Instead of torturing thieves, teach them a lesson in a humane and memorable manner and provide for what they lack. Very inspiring…
—The character Agesinkole (Femi Adebayo) was well crafted through his costume, voice, eyes, and gestures. He didn’t terrify us that much and that’s only because we watched King of Thieves during the daytime 😉
Plus the narrator’s voice throughout the scenario helped make the story engaging rather than scary. A big shout out to Oguntade (one of the villagers) for a sublime performance

Bland
—Color grading  was stunning for the major part; just a few times, the temperature would suddenly change within the same scenes
—It would have made more impact to see the killing process of some characters as opposed to hiding it
