Jan.E.Man was a manly man movie, filled with lots of drinking and arguments 😀 It was a sloooow comedy in the sense that there wasn’t much to ignite a burst of laughter

Delicious
—Hats off to Vishnu Thandasseery and the colorist team for producing stunning visuals and lighting during the night scenes. Camera movements were controlled and intentional to give us a sense of the laid-back ambiance at Joymon’s party
—Jan.E.Man’s message was selflessness: the world would be a far better place if we cared for each other genuinely as opposed to putting our needs above all.
Joymon (Basil Joseph) and his friends were quite self-centered being comfortable in their own bubble; they were only happy doing what they liked without consideration for others and that became obvious during their interaction with the mourning neighbors
Bland
—The narrative was cute, it got us excited but the overall delivery was somewhat disconnected from the comedy and charisma expected. The dialogues were cheesy, there weren’t really funny segments, only a couple of guys getting together to eat, drink, and be merry
—Aside from Arjun Ashokan (playing Joymon’s friend) and Lal (playing the neighbor), the rest of the cast didn’t carry us on a journey and we didn’t really get to know them personally
—Directing was alright, nothing too outstanding to make Jan.E.Man memorable
