C.R.E.A.T.I.V.I.T.Y. at work🥰 To take the story of Jesus Christ and give it a contemporary vibe, that was fascinating
~Worth Watching~

Delicious
—Shine Tom Chacko is sooooo comfortable in front of the camera😆 We love his passion for cinema and he radiated this exuberance while playing Pathro (one of the gang members). He was lively, entertaining, and affectionate, but also feisty
—Watching Panthrand with headphones ended up being a fantastic choice as the sound experience was a blast.
It literally transported us inside the film with the sound of sea waves, the wind blowing on trees, as well as other additional effects that enriched the environment
—Can we ‘not’ talk about the visual effects?😀 Ridiculously well executed, big shout out to the work done during the stormy sea scene, we indeed felt that storm!
—To best enjoy Panthrand, you need to need to be familiar with the story of Jesus to easily connect the dots, e.g. the names of characters like Maria, the brothel owner (i.e. Mary Magdalene in the Bible) or Lazar (i.e. Lazarus in the Bible).
It was so much fun to match the events taking place in the movie with those in Jesus’s life
—The camaraderie among the 12 gang members was so precious to see: the embrace, smile, support, sharing of food, etc. That’s what you call friendship. All the actors did so well, very much appreciated
—We commend Leo Thaddeus for crafting a creative plot based on the life of Jesus using a contemporary feel. The atmosphere was soothing and educative, motivating people to work and live decent lives with a pure conscience and clean hands.
A memorable line was “even if humans forget us, we shouldn’t forget them, that is why we are existing”. A strong reminder that God still loves and cares for us though we forget Him

Bland
—Dev Mohan was supposed to be unforgettable as he played Immanuel (i.e. Jesus); instead, he didn’t genuinely reflect his emotions and sustained the same face throughout…
—Music was ever-present to the point it became a little overpowering
—Fight choreography wasn’t vigorous; it appeared quite rehearsed
