4th Republic is very dear to us because we had the opportunity to meet the cast and crew in person at an international screening event 🤩
We were indeed fulfilled after watching the movie! 4th Republic was sizzling, full of mystery, and engaging till the end. A well-designed screenplay
~Worth Watching~

Delicious
—The cast selection has to be our favorite, you have Kate Henshaw (playing Mabel King), Enyinna Nwigwe (playing Ike), Linda Ejiofor (playing Bukky), Sifon Oko (playing Lucky), and Bimbo Manuel (playing St James): come on, bring it on 😀
They solidified the storyline by giving us different emotions and taking us on a ride
—4th Republic was definitely out of the box. The plot was sophisticated as it dived into the dirty hands of politics bringing versatile characters and sending strong messages about the current state of affairs. The twists added more flavor to the narrative.
4th Republic wasn’t just about criticizing politicians but it made us look into our own personal lives; after all, politicians are just people like us and we are also prone to indulge in shady business but just on a smaller scale
—We enjoyed the mysterious and suspenseful aura that was fueled by the score and brutal murders ordered by unknown parties
—Thank you for the thought-provoking dialogues, especially between Ike and his boss Mabel, the foreign journalist, and his colleague Bukky
—Great work on the visual and special effects

Bland
—The weak color grading, so regrettably, took away the five-star rating that 4th Republic deserved because it was excessively distracting.
It failed to accentuate characters and at times, some scenes were completely grayed out.
Cinematography could have been more dramatic to stir our emotions; for instance, when Danladi (Yakubu Mohammed) chased Lucky, apart from the drone shots, the still camera on land did not do justice to the energy of the scene
