Overall Rating: BBQ
Vaashi had two of our favorite actors: Tovino Thomas and Keerthy Suresh, so HAPPINESS was all around 😊
The movie was a work of intelligence, very thought-provoking. It didn’t shy away from exposing the bitter truth of the court process. And this was quite hard to digest…
~Worth Watching~

Delicious
—When we say that Vishnu G Raghav took the time to carefully craft this screenplay, we indeed mean it.
It was interesting to see that the case Eby (Tovino Thomas) and Madhu (Keerthy Suresh) were fighting in court was an illustration of their personal lives, i.e. closeness between two opposite genders eventually leads to marriage
—Another original element of the story was that Madhu was defending the male client who allegedly raped Anusha (represented by Eby).
This brought another dimension as Madhu didn’t handle her case from a feminist lens but instead advocated ‘against’ the abuse of women’s privileges
—No need to worry about performance when Tovino Thomas and Keerthy Suresh are around, simply sublime!
Special thanks to Vishnu for ‘not’ giving us a lovey-dovey romance. Eby’s and Madhu’s relationship was founded on pure respect and care which was very genuine to see on screen 👏🏾
—The concluding part was very hard to accept, though painfully true; a bold reality of how events usually unfold
Eby and Madhu said it well during their discussion “There’s no right or wrong. The conscience is irrelevant. Everyone is just a client to us. Do right and wrong really exist? Aren’t they just perspectives? And who are we to judge all this? There is actually no black or white. Just different shades of gray. That’s all. One must get used to it. There’s no choice” 😞😞

Bland
—Cinematography wasn’t at its ‘bestest’; the camera missed several details that could have provided a more comprehensive understanding of the story
