Vaaitha reminded us of ‘Sennai‘ as both movies were extremely painful to watch. To think that these incidents are inspired by true events is gut-wrenching and unfathomable😨 😖 Hence, the reason Vaaitha has no rating

—We learned that Vaaitha means ‘adjournment’ or ‘delayed justice’. And that’s what we clearly saw: the deliberate postponement of Appu’s and other people’s justice to the point it became irritating.
Mahivarman C. S., the writer, used MANY symbols to make his point.
For instance, there’s a scene where a little boy is able to mimic how witnesses should stand in court and what they should & shouldn’t say just because he’s been appearing in court for a year with his grandma
The constant display of the blindfolded statue of justice outside the courtroom was a reminder that the so-called ‘justice’ system isn’t impartial after all. As they say, justice is only an abstract, not a reality
—All actors rendered an impressive and convincing performance that we were completely engrossed in the story.
Special recognition to Appu (Mu Ramaswamy), it looked as if he was really in pain; the poor man suffered so much in his old age…
—The screenplay possessed a wide variety of characters that provided different perspectives and kept the narrative intriguing.
We saw Appu, the motorbike riders, the little boy and his grandma, Appu’s son’s love interest, the judges, opposing lawyers, the community, Appu’s wife, etc.
Vaaitha exemplified how wrong can easily be written off as right and vice versa. Nobody cares about how destitute or suffering you are; the only thing that matters is personal interest
