~Worth Watching~

Delicious
—‘Tolu’ is a narrative that can be turned into an illustrated book for young girls. Tolu (Halimat Olarenwaju) was that tenacious girl who believed anyone can do anything regardless of gender or age.
The film was filled with encouraging lines and carried the themes of patience, determination, and resilience
—Storytelling had a gentle flow of events with a well-built climax
—Tolu and the old man (Wale Ojo) were the crowns of this movie; their chemistry was effortless and stunning. Tolu displayed a good inquisitive character when talking to the old man. They were so beautiful to watch. AND Tolu’s smile was so charmiiiiinng 😍
Tolu’s mom and dad were a great support to the main cast
—The ‘house-on-river’ community was an innovative location choice accentuating the fishing atmosphere of the film
—Nice attempt on the visual effects during the fishing scene
