Delicious
—The futuristic display of the world was fantastic, we even had a glimpse of The Alliance shown on one of the billboards. We were mesmerized by the intricate details of the illuminated city, buildings, vehicles, etc.
—The camera was leading our eyes, signaling where to place our attention to better comprehend the story
—The Tilman, just like The Alliance, was a thought-provoking concept; there was a mystery about the Tilman, an unidentified person who operated mischievously and consequently made the Army General and his team track him down. The unknown kept the story running
Bland
—Despite the fact that the movie was filled with suspense and intrigue, we didn’t get much out of the story. We had no grasp of the Tilman’s identity or even got to see the viral disease plaguing people. The film didn’t engage with the audience to establish a narrative that we could understand and assimilate to. The potential was there but not completely executed
—The audio wasn’t that audible at times, making it difficult to know what was going on in certain scenes
—A few aspects of the movie didn’t seem too realistic, e.g. the helicopter being so close to Jamal’s car, yet unable to fire at it
