~Worth Watching~
Delicious
—Elly Spurs did a good job inviting us into the narrative with the sound design, starting from the night exterior scene when a young lady entered a house to what she experienced inside.
The various sounds like the dull clock ticking, keyboard strokes, and footsteps really increased the creepiness and mystery of the plot. Even the silent moments became intimidating.
We were all wondering what would we do if we were alone and heard a very strange noise in our attic?😬
—The use of a handheld camera worked well, it seemed as if we were actually inside the movie living the suspense
—For a thriller genre, you’d normally expect a dark color grading, somehow the brightness choice worked in this case. It made the story feel organic rather than touched up
—The lady’s facial expression was intriguing throughout the movie; you couldn’t tell whether she was tired (coming maybe from a long day), annoyed, upset, or just indifferent
Bland
—The ending was a bit mundane, something a little out-of-the-box would have left us wanting for more
—The storyline could have contained more elements to enrich the plot
