Sillu Karuppattiiiiiiii….we were so charmed by the first two stories, but then….the charm slowly faded. By that time, the plots and production became, regrettably, feeble
~Still Worth Watching~

Delicious
—Storytelling of the first two segments was very fascinating; we fell in love with the teenagers in ‘Pink Bag’ and the adults in ‘Kakka Kadi’.
It was new to see affection being developed in the most unfathomable areas, like how does a boy collecting trash develop an interest in a girl who throws the trash??? Or a young lady meet the same guy daily on a shared ride? 😜
The stories were so intriguing that we wished they could become feature films, it was a pleasant journey. Plussss, it was really original to include the characters of one story into another creating a seamless transition
—The relaxing score ushered in a peaceful atmosphere
—Sillu Karuppatti radiated hope in love even in the most desperate circumstances

Bland
—The last two stories, surprisingly, didn’t carry on the elegance of the first two. In ‘Turtles’, for instance, there were way too many coincidental and fairy-tale moments between the elderly individuals, making it artificial. The lines were a bit cheesy
—Sillu Karuppatti is a tribute to love, hence, a vibrant color grading would have brought life and energy
—About brand advertisement…it was very much in our faces. The intentional camera positions on a specific product/service took away the flow of the stories
—Poor dubbing didn’t do justice to the hardworking actors 🙁
