Summary: [This is the sequel of Putham Pudhu Kaalai] A look at the lives of people hit by the second pandemic lockdown and the effects on their relationships, career, health, and mentality

Overall Rating: Ovation
Putham Pudhu Kaalai Vidiyaadhaa, very shamefully, was a movie we pushed aside as it appeared like cliché tales about romance and relationships.
The first installment wasn’t too exciting so we automatically assumed there was nothing to look forward to in this sequel. WRONG!!! What word can describe the joy and blessing of watching Putham Pudhu Kaalai Vidiyaadhaa?? We stand amazed…

The narratives were so organic and believable, no goofy romance (well, except for the first story ‘Mugakavasa Mutham’ 😀 ). The writers put an accent on the emotions of fear, uncertainty, aimlessness, and emptiness that invaded people during the lockdown. Anyone watching Putham Pudhu Kaalai Vidiyaadhaa will identify with at least one narrative.

We applaud the work executed on all 5 stories, our special favorites were ‘Mouname Paarvayaai’ and ‘Loners’, they deserve a bowing Ovation. Their screenplays were exceptionally authentic; the former title was a total silent movie while the latter possessed unique dialogues never before heard in Kollywood movies.
We literally became emotional looking at the frailty of life and relationships while watching these 2 segments.

Arjun Dasssss (playing Dheeran in ‘Loners’), oh goodness that voice!!!!! mmmm…It was so fulfilling to see him in a different role, his performance really touched our hearts
Okay…let’s just end this review here otherwise it will get longer than it needs to be
