Overall Rating: Beignets
Purusha Pretham was a pure satire of the police department, not in a derogatory way but an instructive one. We had a good portion of laughter with the natural actors on set.
The fact that the story dragged a bit took away the excitement; overall, we were pleased
~Worth Watching~

Delicious
—Purusha Pretham was a public display of the lack of seriousness in the police department.
At every turn, we saw something hilarious like the head of police who spent most of his time acting on a TV series, super Sebastian (Alexander Prasanth) was an ace at fabricating heroic stories, and Project Citrus was the best🤣
There were many other comic elements but the lesson was obvious: there needs to be a drastic change in the system and a more effective way to properly handle unidentified bodies to avoid mismanagement
—The funky score was quite amusing and blended nicely with the humoristic characters and mood of the movie
—Green, yellow, and red were the dominant colors of the film.
Green for vegetation and life (the movie had a lot of planting going on), yellow for happiness, i.e. the satirical aura, and red for blood (there were lots of discussions on deaths by suicide, crime, and construction work, plus Sebastian’s face was always wounded)
—Several characters were shot half-faced; it almost felt like the idea was to convey half-truths, deception, and incomplete/hidden facts prevailing in the screenplay

Bland
—Purusha Pretham could have been summarized in much less time by editing out some not-so-necessary scenes like Jeo Baby’s part where he inaugurated plants for an event or Sebastian’s amicable moments with his love interest.
As a result, the film began to drag and wasn’t moving straight to the point
—The images shot during exhumation looked unrefined, color-saturated, and a bit fuzzy 🙁
