Monster had a much more sizzling title than its story…It was disappointing that the movie just used Mohanlal for publicity’s sake as there was no solid content

Delicious
—Always a great pleasure to see Lakshmi Manchu (playing Durga) 🥰 She has such a powerful deep voice that commands presence and she looked good!
We must say that Honey Rose (playing Bhamini) has evolved; in the past, her performances have always been safe. In Monster, she was fragile, firm, and emotional
—The fighting choreographer deserves praise for fashioning some jaw-dropping moves, especially in the final fight scene of the movie: that ‘walk on the wall’ was like 😲

Bland
—Please explain the need for the intro song to have sexual lyrics. Completely disrupted the mood😱
—Lucky Singh reminded us of Mohanlal’s Chandrashekhar role in 12th Man. They were both obnoxious and loud,  you could tell the behavior was faked to later unveil another face.
Monster was one of those revenge tales we’ve seen many times before; obviously, Mohanlal was cast to entice viewers as his character was unnecessarily the center of attention
—The sound engineering was sadly very ADR-ish
—The screenplay was predictable; we could tell the end from the beginning based on how awkwardly some characters behaved
—Some elements of the story didn’t quite add up, e.g. why would the government pay attention to only 3 ‘natural’ death cases scattered across the nation? The process of apprehending the culprit was achieved in a more complicated way than it needed to be
—Jagapathi Babu (playing a cameo role) wasn’t well utilized for an actor of his caliber; he basically just stood in an area with no strong lines to deliver, appearing aimless and uncomfortable
