Having personally gone through many failures in school, we totally got Charles’s struggle; it was very humiliating…Magic Pen was a great lesson for everyone not just for students
~Worth Watching~

Delicious
—Charles, Charles, Charles 😀 So tragic to see him go through the embarrassment of being among the ‘less’ intelligent. We understood his pain cos school wasn’t easy for us too. The insult to injury is when you’re mocked by teachers like Mr. Sango and classmates like Loki, hmmm…
—The concluding phrase of the movie, “‘you are all the magic you seek” was a great motivation to work and improve ourselves. There may not always be a magic pen around, but our brain will never leave us, hence the need to empower it
—Magic Pen was short and sweet. We understood the point the writers were trying to make. It was a good story with a good message

Bland
—Some technicality problems rendered ‘Magic Pen’ not so attractive: the unrefined audio, dark lighting that obstructed faces, score that came on and off at the wrong time, and non-cinematic images
—Johnson Ibeh (playing Charles) was a little plain in his performance
—Just a personal wish, it would have been special if the plot contained more layers to make it fascinating
