Overall Rating: —-
‘Last’ was a sweet and simple tale about the neglect of elderly parents. Even though we’ve watched many similar stories, ‘Last’ was heartbreaking and meant more than review ratings that’s why we decided not to grade it
~Worth Watching~
Delicious
—We want to applaud the set design team for a superb job on Mama’s house which looked so uncared for, notably the over-used and torn couches, the extremely damaged doorknob, and the lifeless living room.
The entire house screamed for a desperate renovation and reflected how Mama’s children had neglected her over the years
—’Last’ was short but profound. Not many words were utilized, we could tell Mama was super miserable and it kinda made us wonder why her children abandoned her to this level.
It was obvious that the children were running busy lives but to the extent of marginalizing their own mother 😔 It was really heartbreaking!
We almost wanted to enter the TV and comfort her. ‘Last’ was a big wake-up call…
Bland
—Acting wasn’t flattering…Such a shame because it could have enormously helped nail the movie. Guess we were more carried away by the script than the actors
—The cinematographer didn’t shoot in a spectacular way to boost this wonderful story and the actors weren’t adequately framed
