—AEW is a story that many people can identify with, not just the introverted ones. That special person who makes you freeze whenever you see him/her to the extent you don’t even know how to behave. That was Anurag (Vineeth Vasudevan) in front of Neethu (Akhila Bharagavan)
—Actors were very very very natural; we actually felt like a part of their world, taking a peek at their activities
—The scenery was beautiful, pure, and relaxing, away from the congested metropolitan environments. AEW’s momentum was quite slow and monotonous which worked to reflect Anurag’s and Neethu’s personal lives
—We really appreciated the fact that Kiran Josey gave us an insight into the main characters as we got to see Neethu’s and Anurag’s homes, workplaces, friends, hobbies, etc. Neethu’s sister was our crush 😍
Good that the movie also included some segments to break from the dullness, e.g. when Neethu is dancing and then chased by her mother, Neethu’s suitor acting in movies
—What we got from AEW is that the grass is not always greener on the other side. Anurag was always teased by his friends for being timid and the second he decided to ‘man up’, … (no spoiler intended🤐)
Neethu was always longing for an exhilarating relationship, then when the opportunity arose, … 🤐
Don’t think the writers were advocating to be satisfied with a monotonous life/personality, but instead to see beauty in every situation. Anurag was to embrace introversion to his advantage while Neethu find fulfillment in herself and not a man

—AEW could have used a more original storytelling to keep us glued to our seats as we could already map out the movie from the beginning
