Overall Rating: Beignets
If you wanna talk about odd comedy, then we have to mention Enkilum Chandrike because it was a burst of laughter in the most unusual places!
The story was relevant and gripping thanks to the fantastic actors. It was similar to Saiju Kurup’s Upacharapoorvam Gunda Jayan where you have a bunch of people trying to stop a wedding and the end is sizzling.
Very sadly, the monotony toned down the pace but other than that, we had great moments
~Worth Watching~

Delicious
—With some of our favorite actors on set (i.e. Suraj Venjaramoodu, Saiju Kurup, & Basil Joseph), we couldn’t be any happier😀
Abhi (Saiju), Kiran (Basil), Pavi (Suraj), and Amal (Aswin Vijayan) were the gang of friends you wanted to have: they were amusing, supportive, and resourceful.
Kiran was the wannabe film director who used his scripts to design various methods of preventing Bibeesh’s wedding while Abhi was the lover boy willing to follow any tricks to make his marriage to Chandrika happen.
Pavi was the “wisest” and Amal just rolled with the punches
—Pavi’s aunty (Banumathi Payyanur) was outstanding 😂 Her tauntings, excess gossip & curiosity, and crude jokes were unforgettable. She’s that family member you hate, yet still love because she’s harmless and caring
—”Spread love” was the motto of the film. Putting love above societal norms, our own desires, and injustice
—The cinematography and soundtracks were as entertaining as the story. The match-cut scenes spiced up the narrative and the camera movements & song lyrics teased and deceived us well!

Bland
—Enkilum Chandrike regretfully lost vigor as it only focused on the plan to prevent Bibeesh’s wedding for two hours, this evidently became monotonous
—The lesson-learning moments felt a bit awkward as they weren’t naturally introduced.
Enkilum Chandrike was all about comedy and it was towards the closing segments that some instructive lines were thrown. A bit too late…
