How amazing that the local markets in Kerala look just like the ones back home 😀 Aram was a down-to-earth story, very easy to understand.
Just wished the script was more complex to transport us on a journey

Delicious
—Seeing the local market scenery, the people’s activities, and the animals feeding from the food scraps was so nostalgic. Don’t think there were even major changes to the set location which made the look of Aram very natural
—All the cast members were so genuine in their performance, conveying typical behaviors you’ll find at a market, i.e. gossip, loud chats, fights, etc.
—No criticism of the production. Everything was on point: color grading, sound effects, and audio
—Aram was a good demonstration of survival of the fittest; in this case, it was about being the most resilient and strong-minded to move up in the market hierarchy

Bland
—Aram had all the charisma to be special if only the screenplay had been more loaded. We basically just saw the activities of the local market, fight sequences, then the aftermath. There wasn’t much to make Aram unforgettable; we watched it and later moved on. The absence of dynamic dialogues, editing, and the like also contributed to this fact
