What an authentic and sweet story beautifully told and acted! We laughed, reflected, and were pleasantly entertained while watching Appathava Aattaya Pottutanga (AAP)
~Worth Watching~

Delicious
—Several movies have centered on the mistreatment of elderly parents by their children, but AAP took a different turn by introducing an elopement, which made the story very fascinating.
We put ourselves in the children’s and parents’ shoes, wondering what we would do. There was no way to map out the end of the story from the beginning due to the many spins, plus the comic scenes were too amusing.
Ramasamy’s friends were so hysterical; they toiled so hard to design shady and funny schemes just so the wedding could happen. We just couldn’t stop cracking up!
—Congratulations to Praveen Kumar and his team for the wonderful cinematography that enhanced the narrative. The push-in and pull-out movements of the camera were conveniently used in addition to other comedic camera techniques
—AAP taught a big lesson to parents and children on how to relate to each other as they grow older. Love indeed covers a multitude of sins and bad habits too😅
The film made us reflect on our relationships with the elders in our lives

Bland
—At times, the comedy tended to be a little over-exaggerated by some characters like Shanmugam’s men and Anthony’s son
