Yes! Yes! Yes! Finally, a thriller that makes sense 😀 Honestly, it’s been so frustrating to watch the redundant approach to thrillers with the latest releases that Antakshari was a breath of fresh air!
The film was quite personal because we also experienced what the main character went through so it hit really deep
~Worth Watching~

Delicious
—Put your seat belts on because Antakshari opens up with numerous details: there’s a murder, a physical assault, a cop oddly playing Antakshari in his police station, a mysterious caller, etc.
This can be overwhelming as introductory scenes, however, we appreciated it as the enigma was ignited
—The storytelling deviated from the norm by presenting innovative characters making it hard to pinpoint who was who. Climax was so well built that we were hooked to the screen
—We’re loving Saiju Kurup (playing Das) more and more this year, he’s been outdoing himself.
During the fighting sequence at the end, he genuinely showcased a man in physical agony as opposed to the typical male characters who quickly rise up and fight after a knockout (ok, let’s stop right here to avoid spoilers🤐).
Another great joy was young Kishore, this boy is a gem; he was full of fury and very intimidating
—The forestial location set was conveniently picked!
—Recently, we’ve watched several thrillers without being moved by the narrative, but Antakshari was scaaaary.
Don’t know if it’s because we watched it in a dark room or had previously gone through the same situation as Das…We were inside the story going through the emotions with Das and his family
—It was great to see Das as the protector, bold enough to defy his superior’s orders and face danger to ensure his family’s safety.
Although this can be viewed as a move to propel male dominance, it didn’t apply to Das as he was gentle and caring towards his wife and daughter

Bland
—The camera, at times, failed to show some vital details that could have intensified the mood of the film
