What an angelic feel we had while watching ‘Angel’. We relished every bit and piece of the film, the actors and crew did a remarkable job!
~Worth Watching~
Delicious
—Hats off to Sreekuttan (Amal K Sivan) and Angel Maria (Andrea Saji) for such a flawless performance, they were so sweet and worked comfortably together. The pleasantries they exchanged were cute to see 😀
We must confess that at first, we were a bit uneasy seeing them alone in a room, blame it on the many accounts of young men preying on little girls. But Sreekuttan was different as he was caring and pure in heart. Wish we could have more men behave this way to change the current narrative
—We greatly appreciated how the storytelling established the characters during the opening scene to give us an idea of the setting we were about to discover
—It was a good plan to talk about child neglect which is oftentimes overlooked by busy parents. Angel Maria didn’t need much, just affection and attention. And the lack of each confined her as if she was on house arrest
—Though ’Angel’ was a two-location set it didn’t feel tedious to watch because the directors utilized different spaces. And can we add that we lovedddd Angel Maria’s house? 😍
—One notable moment was when the maid (Viji M) said the following in regards to Angel Maria’s parents “immature love made them do stupid things and jumped into an unintended marriage. Eventually when the excitement fades off and also when a child is born, things get complicated”.
What a revelation! Indeed in most cases, this is what happens when unprepared couples rush into marriage, suffer devastating consequences, and later the children have to pay the price
Bland
—The closing scene caught us by surprise with the sudden shift that didn’t appear realistic. We’ll just stop here to avoid spoiling it for you 🤐
