Bral was an organic movie that took a trivial tale and transformed it into something funny and instructive. We had a good time watching it!
~Worth Watching~

Delicious
—We smiled and laughed just by seeing the scenery and daily activities of Dharman’s neighbors, e.g. the exquisite brushing of teeth, competitive fishing habits, glaring and curious eyes, etc. You could tell the actors had a blast on set as the energy was so genuine
—The images had a natural polish showcasing the beautiful environment
—Nothing negative to say about the actors, they rendered an organic performance 👏🏾
—Bral was quite a linear story but what elevated it was the camera’s attention to details to trigger the humor: the neighbors’ stares, even the animals’ stares, envious mannerisms, etc. Poor Dharman (C.R. Rajan) was just trying to live a quiet life, however, his lack of finances made it difficult for him.
One of the takeaway lessons is the realization that you can never satisfy anyone, even if you did the most selfless act in the world, people would still find faults in you…

Bland
—It would have been great if the screenplay contained multiple layers rather than just zooming in on Dharman
