We felt for Joshua 😆 It’s not easy to confess love to someone and we understood his extreme nervousness. Parayathe was a beautiful and ordinary tale well told. We enjoyed it
~Worth Watching~
Delicious
—What we loved about Parayathe was the environment that looked organic, e.g. the display of people casually walking on the streets, the simple coffee place, and the local park. It felt so homey to see
—The movie gave us a relatable story about an everyday guy in love with a girl, yet afraid of expressing his love for fear of rejection. It was genuine to see how Joshua (Joyal Paul) was overthinking everything and imagining Jesse’s different reactions. The poor guy was petrified 😅
—Parayathe was simple, down-to-earth, and opened our eyes to the need to summon the courage to just SAY IT. As Joshua’s friend stated “If you keep getting scared like this, nothing will work out”
Bland
—Jesse’s weak dubbing suffered and kinda distracted us from fully concentrating on the story
—Overall acting lacked vigor and passion. You could tell Joyal Paul and Anjali Nair (playing Jesse) weren’t totally comfortable acting; their facial and physical expressions didn’t flow naturally, which impeded the movie’s atmosphere
