Delicious
—There’s no way you can watch 12th Man without paying attention to the camera work 😀 Satheesh Kurup and the editor worked in great harmony; the transitions between past and present completed each other so nicely.
We were in total awe of the quality put in. Satheesh was very intentional with the camera movements which helped understand the story and emotions while creating suspense
—Saiju Kurup (playing Mathew, one of the friends) sold the movie for us! This was by far his best performance.
We saw him in all his elements; he was fun when it needed to be and grieving during depressing times. We believed him
—We already predicted some drama between the friends just by the way they were apprehensive of one another.
The revelation of their darkest secrets, however, came as a surprise to witness the extent of selfishness and pride

Bland
—Mohanlal (playing Chandrashekhar) was, sadly, hard to watch because his acting was very artificial.
It was obvious from the beginning that his drunk state was just momentary. He didn’t even appear drunk in the first place. His interrogation segments were a little shallow without much to look forward to
—Overall, the storyline was déjà vu; it was clear that the friendship would be tested at some point.
The interrogation scenes were lonnnng and tedious. Acting across the cast was, regretfully, not engaging or motivating
